Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Florida

-/-/- a family member of mine bought a vehicle using Synchrony Bank Financial for financing. I was placed as an authorized user on this credit account. -/-/- the account was closed and my family member continued payments until -/-/- at which time the account went delinquent. This was then placed on MY credit as a past due account. I have made multiple attempts to call Synchrony Bank and no one can pull up anything under my information. The account # shown on all my credit reports is only linked to my family member showing me as an authorized user on the account and Synchrony bank had - different employees tell me on a recorded line yesterday when I spent 4 hours trying to find information on the account that it should not be on my credit since I was not the financee and just an authorized user. This account has been detrimental to my credit rating and no one can seem to tell me why it is on my credit or even find the account with my information on it at all to tell me who to speak to about it.
