Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Virginia

CPS has harassed me for years by calling my work place and cell phone at least five times a day each ( from about - different phone numbers ). They 've contacted my supervisor, Benefits coordinator, ex husband, parents, friends and even the salesperson who sold me the car regarding payment. They have used threat tactics on my exhusband ( threaten to charge his card if I do n't pay by due date ). They 've taken payment on unauthorized dates, and threatened to pick up my vehicle if I was unable to comply when they wanted me to even though I was proactive and trying to negotiate with them due to a nasty divorce. They have embarrassed me to friends, family and coworkers. I tried to sell my vehicle and settle with them but because I was about - short on the sale price, they did n't go through with it. They were not willing to negotiate but they were willing to bully and intimidate. I opted to voluntarily surrender the vehicle but they picked up my vehicle before I could. They never returned my plates and I never got a chance to obtain my personal belongings from the vehicle. I requested documentation and a full accounting of my account, and to date they have not responded to me but are still reporting to the credit agencies. They are reporting a past due balance and a charge off balance on my reports. Before the they took the vehicle they engaged in illegal harassment practices and I am sure they did the same when taking the vehicle. This company has also loss in a class action suit against them that I was unaware of at the time. My situation is n't an isolated incident, this is how they practice business. I am highly distressed over the negative impact this has had over my life and credit.
