Closing/Cancelling account Hawaii
On or about - 2015 Chase Credit Cards issued me a -/cancellation of debt. I never requested the debt be cancelled and I was actually willing to work with them to resolve this debt. They advised me that they issued the - because they made no effort to collect the debt. I contacted Chase to discuss this account but they were unable to help me which I will never understand. I do n't understand how their failure to attempt to collect an account becomes a tax burden on me. I never once asked for the debt to be forgiven, I created the debt and was willing to pay it they just did not want to collect it. Makes no sense to me!
