I bought a $300.00 US Bank prepaid gift card as a wedding gift for a family friend. To our chagrin, they reported to us that when they tried to use it, most of the funds had been used, and the card was frozen. After calling US Bank, they decided to investigate the case, and was told to wait. I made several phone calls in the future, and was just told that the case was still being investigated. Eventually, we were asked to fax in necessary materials, including the credit card, the sales receipt, and my information. I was told that the fax would go directly to a supervisor and we would hear back within the next business day, but I never heard back again.
