In 2009, I went to - - in -, NY for - - -. One of the - - employees offered me an option to apply for a Care Credit credit card, in which it would pay for my loan and the card was also interest free. I was never advised of any other terms of the card. I accepted it and went through with the procedure. I continued to pay on my Care Credit account, with no late payments, until it was approximately half-way paid off. I then noticed my pay off balance had substantially increased. I contacted Care Credit via phone and they advised me that, since I did not pay off the entire balance during the " promotional period '' that all of the interest was applied back to my account. I was not made aware of this by - - nor Care Credit and I was completely taken off guard by their response. If I would have known then I would have certainly paid off my balance in that time period.
