We booked a stay with a resort in - that gave a quote in US dollars and all terms and conditions were provided in US dollars. Once we arrived at the hotel, they would n't honor the US dollar rate and would only process the transaction in the pesos. This led to both a higher than quoted rate as well as an additional foreign transaction fee which Chase has been unsupportive in resolving.
