My mortgage was sold by - to PHH. -/-/- was the first month with PHH. I paid my usual payment. ( - ). I received a letter stating that I have a " suspense '' balance in the amount of - but the total amount due is -. The additional amount of - must be received before the end of the month to avoid reporting to the credit bureau. I have never had the payment increased when the loan was sold to another company and no explanation was given. It 's impossible to call and get answers.
