Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Alabama

I was laid off this past summer and went and told this loan company this information. The very first thing the manager did was to look and see what I could sell to pay the loan payment that was not overdue. I continued to pay through the fall as I got severance pay. When the severance pay exhausted and all I had was unemployment and could not pay the -/-/- payment the manager said that I could come in and rewrite the loan then I would n't be due again until -/-/-. I was looking for work and had been since I was laid off, with no luck. I could not pay the -/-/- payment so the loan company started calling me, my dad, my sister, my daughter in law, etc. I had already told them I could not pay the payment as I had not landed a job yet. When they called my sister she was in the hospital on oxygen and a bipap machine. She told them she was in the hospital, yet asked her to leave me a message. I called the loan company and let them know that they were not ever to call my sister


Then the loan company decided to leave letters at my address a few times, Then they called a seasonal job I got -/-/- to verify my employment with a co-worker and told her to give me a message. Then the loan company had someone go to my job and told my co worker that she needed to ask me a question, posing as a client. Then they called the call center and got the extention to where I was. I could not talk with them because I was with a real client. Today they had a police officer from the sheriffs department bring a tag at my work that said I was to pick up a claim at the sheriffs office. When I went to see what this was about the loan company had papers to sue me for the total amount of the loan and had 14 days to answer this claim. I do not have funds at all and the loan company knows of my situation. This has caused stress to my family and work, not to mention stressful to me as well. It has been nothing but pure harassment since after -. I have had this loan for 3 years and rewrote the loan several times and have paid my payments on time until I got laid off and severance pay ended. I have only gotton paid twice since I have had this seasonal job so far and am paying on rent and electricity. I am also trying to find a full time permanent position. I need help.
