JPMorgan Chase & Co. Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Indiana
I have been experiencing extensive issues with Chase Auto Finance ( - - - - KY - ) approximately since - -. Daily, repeated, telephone calls to my personal cell phone escalated into calls to my work phone. After 3-4 phone calls to my employment phone, I demanded Chase Auto Finance never contact via my work phone. Chase Auto Finance has complied with this request ; However, their over-aggressive collection tactics ( that of which stems from one ( 1 ) unsuccessful monthly payment ) have developed into an atrociously diseased business practice. On -/-/- I telephoned Chase Auto Finance to make a $360.00 payment on the balance due of $720.00 via debit card. The representative I was speaking with questioned why I was not paying the balance in full. I responded by stating the funds were not available, I would settle the balance due upon receipt of my Federal Tax Return, and that information was not of her concern. She then inquired on the date of when I would receive the tax return, and if it would be direct deposited. I informed her this was " none of her business '' and, with concern for fraud/scamming, refused to provide
my demeanor changed and I demanded she accept my payment towards the total debt owed. The representative then stated that my proposed payment would be accepted if paid by giving her my bank account information. I refused to provide this information and restated I would pay by debit card. At that time she claimed a debit card could not be processed for this transaction. Arguing ensued, with talk of repossession of the vehicle by both myself and the Chase Auto Finance agent. The agent claimed that Chase Auto has the right to repossess a vehicle at anytime. I became agitated and ordered her to accept a debit card payment or to forward my call to a manager/supervisor. The supervisor was polite and non-argumentative but did attempt to coerce information about the approximate date of my Federal IRS Tax Return. 6 days ( on -/-/- ) after this incident and successful payment of $360.00 to Chase Auto Finance, I received multiple phone calls from phone # ( - ) -. I returned the call only to discover it connected directly to Chase Auto Finance. To my knowledge, Chase Auto Finance 's contact # is - -or- -.
