This complaint is regarding FLAGSHIP ACCEPTANCE -, LLC AND THEIR PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES- the complaint also names - - - and how I became association with Flagship Acceptance -, On - -, -, I - - - traded in my - - Sentara Sedan 2.5 limited edition vehicle VIN - that was purchased at - - - - - - - - - - - VA - for a - Nissan Versa - -. The new vehicle was purchased at the same location but now under the name of - of - -. I did not want to purchase a new vehicle however due to the cost of maintenance of the - Nissan Sentara, I did not have to many choices due to my credit history and obtaining financing for a used vehicle. My decision to go back to this dealership was because of my past experience when purchasing the - Nissan Sentara and the same sales manager - - who signed the then buyers order and assisted the then sales consultant - - - on - - -, - - and also - - was then the manager -. I felt confident since both - and - - who
I have credit challenges with my first care my interest rate was 11.92 %, finance charge $7300.00 vehicle purchase $18000.00 total payments $25000.00 with the total purchase of $26000.00 and the total cost of the vehicle in - for the Sentara. I was then financed with - - - - and the terms were at 72 months $350.00 per month with payments beginning on - -, -. ( I was later explain why this is relevant ). When I came to look at vehicles at the - of - -, I was assigned to work with - - - and with - assisting. I wanted to get another Nissan Sentara but I wanted to keep my payments at $250.00 - $300.00 per month. - - 's appeared to be a little bother of my request, - stated that I would have to look at a Nissan Versa to stay within that payment. After going back and forth the terms for the - Nissan Vera was my $500.00 down payment and my - Nissan Sentra trade in, interest rate at 13.49 % with $9200.00 finance charge the vehicle purchase of $19000.00 total payments $28000.00 with the total purchase of $29000.00, terms 72 months at $390.00 financed with Flagship Credit Acceptance with monthly payments beginning on - -, -. - stated to me that like the purchase of the - Nissan Sentara, after six to twelve months of on time payments, He and - of - would help me in refinancing the vehicle for lower payments just like he and then - assisted. After approximately six months I went back to the dealership and the new finance company was - - -, payments with this company was reduced to $220.00 per month. The decision to make this purchase was based on the promise that if I made my payments on time that I would receive the same assistance and financing. I was promised and also asked by - - - ( Sales Manager ), - - -, ( Sales Consultant ), - - -, Owner ( - Manager ) and - - - ( Account Manager ) when the survey come in from - - to give the dealership the highest ratings. - - - assisted on the financing my tags were transferred from the Nissan Sentra. - - provided a temporary registration Identification and that I would receive a permanent registration no later than 30 days.
