Penn Credit Corporation Debt collection department,
Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) Improper contact or sharing of info Talked to a third party about my debt Pennsylvania
On - -, 2016, PennCredit generated a notice regarding a $36.00 per capita tax payment on behalf of the township in which I reside. I received this notice in my mailbox the week of - -. PennCredit has since contacted my father 's place of business by telephone and disclosed the debt in a voice message. I believe this constitutes communication with a third party regarding my debt. I had not communicated with PennCredit or represented my father to be my agent nor my attorney in the context of this debt. I believe this represents an aggressive and unfair debt collection practice. In the written notice I received from PennCredit, the company discloses that I have 30 days to address the debt. Yet within a week 's time, the company is contacting a third party by telephone to collect said debt. I am unsure if PennCredit has reached out to other third parties in an attempt to collect this debt from me.
