On -/-/-, I moved from my house in - to a - for two years. After the move, someone went through my trash and cashed a torn, fraudulent check. The check was dated in - and was still cashed by a - branch. I filed a claim with Chase 's fraud department immediately after recognizing the fraud. They refused to reimburse the money because the check was not shredded. I filed another complaint pointing out that the check had been torn and was dated two years ago. They refused to change their decision and said it would not be considered again.
