I am contacting you with full authority from the consumer ... .I am filing this complaint from a Wisconsin car dealership on behalf of our customer. Here is what happened. Our customer lease a vehicle from US bank 3 years ago through our dealership. She wanted to buy her lease out and trade it in to our dealership as she was at the end of her lease. US bank told us that she had to go through a bank branch or it would be substantially more money for her to buy it out. So we told her to go to the US Bank branch that is across the street from our dealership. She did so on -/-/15 and she converted the lease to a loan and financed $15000.00. She then came over to our dealership after signing the loan documents with them and proceeded to trade the vehicle in to us and lease a different vehicle. Since the loan was so new it was difficult for them to determine the exact payoff but they told her that there would be a $100.00 early termination penalty loan payoff plus $1.00 per day in interest so we used a payoff amount of her loan of $15000.00 even though it was confusing to us why they would even have a $100.00 early termination penalty on a loan in the state of Wisconsin. Now they are telling us that we are short an additional $78.00 and some odd cents which again does not make any sense and we tried contacting US Bank and they have no explanation for the difference. This customer is super upset and we do n't know what to tell her for the reason of the additional monies.
