TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit monitoring or identity protection Billing dispute North Carolina
I paid to receive my credit report and score from the - bureaus from the Transunion website. They charged me $1.00 for setting up an account in order to view this information. I saw no warning or disclaimer saying I would have to cancel a subscription in 7 days or be charged a subscription fee of $17.00. After a week I was automatically charged $17.00 for a subscription that I was unaware of. It 's abusive and deceptive practice to automatically charge someone 's credit card in this manner. There should have been a more clear option to sign up and pay for the subscription separately. Per the customer service representative, the disclosure was given when I gave them my credit card number initially, but this was not very clear.
