Hello, I graduated from - University several years ago. I received a private loan from Chase. In - of 2015 I lost my job due to election. I requested assistance. I received 2 months of deferred payment. When I requested additional help I was told inaccurate information. I made several phone calls requesting assistance and was informed I should call back in a month to see if I qualify for other programs. When I called, I was informed I defaulted. When I explained that I was following the instructions of their representatives they explained that I should write a letter to the lender requesting assistance, send the letter to them, and they would forward it the lender. Again, I did as instructed. The response from the lender was a an accelerated bill stating I owed the full amount of the loan.
