Amex Credit card department,
Customer service / Customer relations Arizona
I am not sure if this falls within your scope, but American Express has refused to help me because I can not get a driver 's license as I am legally -. I have attempted to get my name changed to my legal ( married ) name for 2 weeks. I have provided them with a copy of my state issued ID card, which has worked fine for everywhere else, but they refuse to accept it because Arizona ID cards do not have expiration dates on them. They have lied to me multiple times, claiming they emailed me ( They did n't ), that their systems were down ( Hard to believe ) and that I would get a call back from a manager ( I have n't ). All I want is for them to not treat me differently because I am physically incapable of getting a driver 's license.
