Synchrony Financial Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Oregon
My husband and I purchased a bed at - - 3 years ago, with a 3 year interest free loan. We had set up automatic payments, and calculated this to pay off the loan before the three years expired. At some point the loan carried by GE Capital was switched to Synchrony Financial. Without our knowledge or approval during this time our login was changed and the amount per month lowered to $35.00 the minimum. Last night we received an email that we owed approximately $2300.00 in interest. This was our first email from Synchrony that showed we still owed money on this loan. In calling Synchrony they were adamant that our login had n't been changed and that the automatic payments hadnt been altered from GE Capital to Synchrony, yet in our case it had. In doing some research I feel as though this type of practice and unyielding, rude telephone customer service may be common within their company.
