I AM WRITING ABOUT AN UNAUTHORIZED UNSIGNED FOR CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD WITH AMERICAN E-PRESS CARD # -, MY NAME IS - -. THE REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT IS I RENTED A CAR FROM - FOR THE TIME PERIOD - FOR A WEEK THROUGH -. I WAS DONE WITH THE CAR A DAY EARLY AND RETURNED IT ON -, A DAY EARLY. WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR A FRIEND WAS THERE TO PICK ME UP, THE CLERK THOROUGHLY INSPECTED THE CAR INSIDE AND OUT, SAT IN THE DRIVERS SEAT AND SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF TIME INSPECTING ALL ELEMENTS OF THE CAR, THE CONDITION, INSIDE AND OUT. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES HE SAIDTHE CAR WAS FINE, I WENT INSIDE AND COMPLETED THE FINAL PAPERWORK, THE CLERK WAS VERY AMIABLE AND SATISFIED WITH THE CONDITION OF THE CAR. I CHECKED OUT AND LEFT WITH MY FRIEND. MY FRIEND WITNESSED THE INSPECTION AND CAN CONFIRM WHAT TRANSPIRED. WE LEFT.
AND THERE WAS NO E-PLANATION, THE CHARGE FOR THE $250.00 WAS DATED - TWO DAYS AFTER THE VEHICLE RETURN. I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE CHARGE, WAS NEVER CONTACTED ABOUT THE CHARGE, OR SIGN OR AUTHORIZE FOR THE CHARGE OF AN ADDITIONAL $250.00. I NOTIFIED AMERICAN E-PRESS AND TO DATE HAVE ONLY RECIEVED AN OCCAISIONAL EMAIL STATING THAT IT IS STILL BEING INVESTIGATED, I HAVE CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES AN AM ASSURED THAT THE CHARGE IS BEING INVESTIGATED, BUT THE CHARGE HAS NEVER BEEN REMOVED. I WOULD ASK FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE IN GETTING THIS CHARGE REMOVED, I HAVE NEVER BEEN NOTIFIED BY THRIFTY OF ANY REASON FOR THE CHARGE OR ANY DEFICIENCY, I AM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS, AS THE CHARE WAS MADE TWO DAYS AFTER THE VEHICLE RETURN, THE CLERK THOROUGHLY INSPECTED THE CAR UPON RETURN, AND AS I RETURNED THE CAR A DAY EARLY IF THERE HAD BEEN A DISCREPANCY OF ANY KIND AND WAS NOTIFIED ABOUT IT I WOULD HAVE HAD A DAY TO CORRECT ANY DEFICIENCY. BUT WAS NEVER NOTIFIED AT ALL OF ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR UPON RETURN. SCRATCHING MY HEAD ABOUT THIS AS AM A SENIOR CITIZEN, AM RESPONSIBLE, AND DO NOT SMOKE OR DRINK OR CARRY ON ETC. - - - - -, -, - - PH : - EMAIL --
