I received a credit score hit due to payment delinquency for a student loan -/-/-. I reached out to citibank -/-/- to request that they clear this issue given the circumstances at that time : 1 ) I never received the notification that - - was going to sell my loan to citi because I physically moved residences and therefore 2 ) I did not realize I had to re-establish an automated payment calendar with a separate entity which led to the 3 late payments before I took notice and paid. Given that I have a stellar history of making payments and had advance paid the entire amount in full, I requested that citibank take off the hit on my credit records. I started with calling the citi gold desk because I have multiple products with them ( e.g. checking, credit, mortgage, etc. ) and they indicated that i 'd have to reach out to the student loan department directly. Citi Student loan had no record of me, so I reached out to - -, who then routed me to -, who then routed me back to Citi.


is able to see or close/clear this account and are constantly re-directing me. My main ask is to take back the credit hit score since I have paid off the entire loan in full in advance and to close the account because I still see a $0.00 ACH debit coming through even if the loan is paid in full. But no matter who I call, I get routed and no one is able to find my account.
