i owe money on an old Sallie Mae student loan. I have n't kept up payments i am a section 8 and food stamp recipient. I hear so much about student loan forgiveness but I havent obtained any direct information. My loan balance upward $11000.00 and constantly going up due to the interest and penalty fees. It has been in default for over 7 years. How can I find outif I qualify for for student loan forgiveness also why has n't my account been tagged for student loan forgiveness. i have so much debt and i really need to get my finances in order now.
