Green Trust Cash, LLC Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease New Jersey
I believe the shared processing network and database that - - companies use has been hacked or threatened with a Bot and thousands of customers may be affected. I applied for a - - - about 3-5 years ago. Two weeks ago, I received an email telling me " my '' application had been received from and I need to click a link to verify it. I figured it was a scam, so I ignored it. A few days later, I received a followup email telling me the application has been processed. I called the company and explained that I had not applied for a loan. They asked me to verify my info and I discovered the application contained my name, previous address, drivers license #, DOB, and SSN. I submitted a report to FTC and added a fraud
This morning, I received another email from a different cash advance company - same thing, asking me to click the link to verify the info. I hoped the webpage would show banking info. I clicked the link and it did include banking info - my old banking routing number and account number!!! This leads me to believe that there is n't a single person submitting an application under my name, but it 's possible that the shared application processing network these companies use may have been hacked with malware or a Bot and the Bot is processing - applications for - customers in their database using the stored info the customers initially submitted years ago when a legitimate application was filed. The name of the first - - company was Green Trust Cash. The email I received today was from - - Now. The number is -. They closed the application and put a fraud alert on it. However, I think there should be some type of public announcement to previous customers because inquiries are being made on our credit reports. Please contact me with a resolution. *In the next section, I provided my old address, which is the address on the cash advance applications. **I could only submit - company name in the next section, but there are -. See above for the - company name.
