Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease Illinois
On - -, 2015, I was overcharged for a vehicle that I purchased from - in -, IL. The retail order invoice from the dealer indicates that the dealer charged me $20000.00 as the base price of the car ( before additional services were added ). This contradicts ( a ) the price of $18000.00 that appeared on the sticker of the car at the time of purchase, ( b ) the price of $18000.00 which the dealer verbally described to me, and ( c ) the $18000.00 MSRP of the exact vehicle as previously listed on a website linked to the dealer. Documentation is submitted with this complaint in the form of a cache of a web page linked to the dealer where the exact VIN of the vehicle in question has an MSRP listed at $18000.00. I received a loan for this purchase through Bank of the West.
'' that I was promised would now be revoked since I refinanced the vehicle through a different lender ( - - ). Additionally, the dealer added services on the vehicle which I do not remember requesting. In question is a charge of $2100.00 appears on the invoice for a service called " - '' Additionally, I do not recall agreeing to " - - '' for $390.00. The dealer is refusing to reimburse me for any of the disputed charges. In fact, when I made a visit to the dealer in early - 2015 to express my concerns, the lead sales representative there told me " This is how we do business in America, '' in obvious reference to my accent ; I am a native of -. I was also contacted by a sales representative who apologized about the mistaken price of the car but did not offer to reimburse me. I visited with a - legal assistance office on - -. The - legal assistance office contacted the dealer twice in an attempt to resolve the issue. On both occasions, the dealer sounded defensive. The dealer has promised that a " corporate lawyer '' or " - '' would contact office of - legal assistance. To date, neither the - or any lawyers have contacted - legal assistance.
