Credit reporting company's investigation no notice of investigation status/result
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation No notice of investigation status/result South Carolina
The credit bureau did not give me a proper investigation in accordance with the FCRA. I asked them to send me the names of the individuals they contacted for verification, along with their addresses and phone numbers so that I can follow up with them. Had to remind them that they have 15 days to comply with the law by providing the requested information in compliance with FCRA, Section 611, part B, subsection ( iii ). Still no complete investigation. I asked them to verify the following questions which I have the right to : 1- Please explain to me what your representatives uncovered to lead them to believe that you are reporting this item as it legally should be reported? 2. What certified documents were reviewed to conclude your investigation?
4. What did it cost your company to obtain the documents needed to complete your investigation? 5. Please provide proof of your timely procurement of certified documents. 6. Did you speak directly to any agent of the company that was reporting the information to confirm the accuracy of what you are reporting?
