Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts California
Placed a security freeze on my Equifax credit report on -/-/2015 via phone ( - ). They billed my - - credit card $10.00 for this on -/-/2015. ( Technically, this should have been free since I am over - yrs. old - this according to their written info. ) Was provided a pin # & confirmation # at that time & told that I would receive written confirmation of such. To date ( -/-/- ) have not received it. Written statements on an earlier-received credit report ( in -/-/- ) note that written confirmation of a security freeze will be sent within 10 business days of the request. I had to use you last spring when I had not received a requested credit report from them after 4 or 5 weeks when it was supposed to take 2 to 3 weeks to receive such. This is the only credit bureau ( of the - ) that I have problems with.
