PNC Bank Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Pennsylvania
I intended to buy a home with a mortgage in 2007. Seller misrepresented, forged documents, and committed a bait-and-switch. I was stuck with a manufactured home with what appears to be an installment loan instead. As a - buyer, I feel especially targeted. Both parties were informed but no cooperation or correction transpired. When I became unemployed and -, my income shrank. I proactively obtained a Chapter - Bankruptcy while all bill payments were current and never missed. This was successful. I also proactively attempted to get a loan modification before any problems would occur. Instead of helping, the bank rejected - attempts, committed errors, failed to communicate effectively, and ultimately charged off the account. Even an attorney attempted to intervene to no avail, which caused me more financial harm. Furthermore, some payments were not credited. After two years of zero communication, the lender is now threatening to " repossess '' my home! At this moment, no detailed letter has been received. My trust is less than broken. Due to the dishonest transaction, I could become homeless in a matter of days ( unlike a foreclosure or eviction process ). I would have walked away from the house if I had a place to go.
