Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't temporarily postpone payments Florida

I called Wells Fargo in - to defer my loan. They usually offer deferments in no more than 2 month lengths. I was asked to make the payment for - then I would be approved. I made the payment then was told my deferment was approved for two full months and that payments would resume in -. A month later, I got a letter in the mail saying I was late. I called because I was puzzled as to why I was getting this letter when my loan was in deferment status. After having to explain my story several times, I was told the deferment was canceled stating they can only give two month 's deferment in ac12 month period. I 've talked to several departments and they all refuse to help me. Instead here threatening to report me to the credit beareu and keep tacking on late fees of $28.00 each. I was not planning on having to pay them - payments of $220.00 each and - late charges ( so far ) so my - payment of $220.00 will still have me in the red and I wo n't be able to catch up for several month to a year. There 's not a lot of companies that refinance student loans. I wish I could leave - afar go since they are not customer friendly and obviously do n't mind hurting their customers.
