I made arrangements with Navient to bring my account current and into forbearance. I made a payment of $240.00 on - - and they stated that another payment would not be due until - -. On - - another payment for $240.00 was taken out and they are saying it was done through the online payment method. I did not log into that account at any time around that date and did not make that payment. They have agreed to refund the payment within 6 to 10 business days but my account is now overdrawn and they do not want to cover the overdraft fees. Not only am I not able to make current bills because that account is overdrawn, when money does go into it there will be several overdraft fees that will take up that money. Not only am I paying over $200.00 a month in interest and only a little over $20.00 is coming off of the principal each month, I am now facing more loss of money because of their screw up. I live paycheck to paycheck it 's not like I can just transfer the money over to cover it.
