I worked very hard to pay down my credit card balances and improve my credit score. Transunion for some reason has the same credit card on my credit report - ( no other credit bureau has this mistake ). I have phoned several times to have this issue remedied. When phoning the first time in early -, I verified with the representative that both of these items had the same account number, an obvious duplication. I was told an investigation would take place, which might take 30 days. I am not satisfied with this response, particularly with the duplication being so obvious. I then followed up with - who then sent me a letter via email, verifying that I only have - credit card account with them. I faxed this to Transunion who stated that this new item would be reviewed within five days and a determination made. I instead received a letter stating the new documentation would extend the investigation to - -. This is unacceptable. This issue is affecting me financially and emotionally. I am trying to secure a home, but can not because of this issue. My family is planning to move, but is delayed because of this issue. I am being denied because of my Transunion score which is inaccurate. I am attaching all documents sent to Transunion.
