We were victims of Portfolio Recovery Associates using deceptive tactics to collect a debt we do n't believe we owed. Fearful of being sued, we paid the alleged debt which we immediately regretted andwe filed a formal complaint ot the Maryland - Office of the - of - -. They recently sent us a letterinforming us that we may be eligible for a refund.
