Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Texas
As a potential customer at Conn 's HomePlus store ( Located in - - Texas at : - - ; - - - - # - ( - ) - ), I was shopping for a new fridge. We were interested in the " in-store '' credit that was going to allow 12 months of interest-free financing. I was very clear that I did not want, nor would I apply for, a credit card. We were still deciding about which fridge to buy, so we decided to continue the process another day. I was contacted ( with my permission ) via phone by the sales associate who had been helping us. I was re-assured that there was no way I would be applying for a credit card " because that HAS to be done in person, '' and that we were simply applying for the in-store credit with Conn 's. I received a credit card in the mail from Conn 's a couple of weeks later.
