I sent TransUnion a letter ( letter attached ) requesting the investigation procedure for several different items which are listed in the attached letter and below. TransUnion received this letter on -/-/2015 ( delivery confirmation attached ). It has now passed the 15 day time limit for them to have provided the procedure. They are now in NON COMPLIANCE. Please see FCRA laws below. Items requested for Investigation Procedure:- - Collections Account # : -. - Collections Account # : -According to FCRA - - - - sub-paragraph ( a ) ( - ) : A consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer a description referred to in paragraph ( - ) ( B ) ( - ) by not later than 15 days after receiving a request from the consumer for that description. Noncompliance- FCRA - - - - Sub-paragraph ( a ) - ( A ) : ( a ) In general Any person who willfully fails to comply with any requirement imposed under this subchapter with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of - ( - ) ( A ) any actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure or damages of not less than $100.00 and not more than $1000.00
