Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts North Carolina
I had a card with -. There were significant income, resource, and medical problems which keep me from continually making the payment in -/-/-. My husband had a serious - and had to have extensive medical costs to pay for and we had the loss of his $1000.00 a week income. We were surviving on my - and the help of his father. Two years later my husband died, and I was put out of the family ; home and out on the street to fend for myself. I am after 5 years finally getting back on my feet financially. I had ; no choice but to stop paying the credit card bills. It was eat or pay credit card debt. I survived with the help of my - check, the ministries, and other helping me to make it through these last couple of years. did not cause the situation, I did not intend to not pay the company ( before this happened, I was never late on payments ). Life attacked my family and I had to do what I could to survive. I called - in -/-/-, and tried to explain what was happening, but they did n't
- turned the account over - in the revolving accts listed, then turned over to -, then over to an attorney which filed a judgment in -/-/- for the $980.00 I owe to -. I never received notice of the transfer to - - Bank or notice when turned over to - - -, and then over to the attorney. The next notification I received was from the attorney who filed the judgment. On my credit report, I have - reporting the item for -., I have the item reporting in collection accts as -.owing $980.00, then reported again in collection accts other as - owing $980.00, and then again reporting in public info listing as the judgment as owing $980.00. So I have - acct with - from -/-/- which is being reported - times at $980.00 each item totaling $3400.00 which is being reported as owing on the summary page. The amount is $2000.00 too much and is reflecting negatively, falsely, misrepresenting the amount I owe, and deceptive on - - 's part. I should have never had the judgment placed against me for $980.00 plus fees because I did n't know anything about -, - - Bank, or - until I was being filed suit by the attorney. His office called my home and threatened me with taking my belongs to pay the bill, put me in jail for fraud they said, put a garnishment on my social security check and they said they were going right then to file the motion to arrest me. They continued to call until I talked to an attorney and found out my rights. I keep hanging up on therm and finally they stopped calling yet they filed judgment on me in the county court house. I have to get this account accurate with the item listed only - time and with only - $980.00 owing. This information as inaccurate as it is is hurting my credit/score and reflecting on me character extremely negatively. I have on numerous occasions disputed with the credit bureaus and they just updated the information and did n't correct the information as they were suppose to. I have no contract with - or the other creditors yet they have hurt my reputation, credit score, reported inaccurate information to credit bureaus, I now have a judgment against me, and I do n't see how this is right! A chain reaction of creditors have taken - account and turned into a monster on my credit report. If you can help me fix this violation of my rights, problem I would appreciate it. Thank you so much- -
