I have a complaint against Wells Fargo relating to the refinancing of a mortgage loan that I have with them. I requested a - Loan and they told me that I was not eligible for it, even though I was never late with my payments, had a - Loan and the property was worth less than the loan. They processed my loan as a conventional loan, had me pay for an appraisal and then said that they would offer the loan if I would bring a large sum of money to the closing.. I believe that they were unethical in their dealings with me, because while they would not have known to value of the property, to assume that its value would have increased in the last 10 years enough to make us invalid for - would not make sense, even to an lay person.
