Credit line increase/decrease New Jersey
i started a secure credit card with $400.00 with capitol one. after a $49.00 fee i had $350.00 of credit. now when i started the card it stated i could increase the amount by adding more to the account. today i recieved a letter saying after -/-/16 i could no longer increase the amount by deposit. this was not the contract i entered into. i contacted cap. - to tell them this fact, we were disconnected. they did say i could increase it until -/-/2016. when i informed them that legally this was not able to be done only new accounts i was cut off.
