Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Having problems with customer service Texas
I have full or Part time status in - school and received an email from Navient to check my account. When I checked my account, I noticed I was two months past due with a late charge. I called Navient and spoke with a representative and advised him that I was still in school. He explained the he did not receive any information from the school. I explained to him that can not be the case since - - received the information that I 'm in school. I advised him that I could not afford and should not have to afford the payment if I 'm still in school and was advised that he could not do anything for me. My question is and correct me if I 'm wrong, Does n't Federal Law state that if you 're in school full or part time, you student loans will remain in Forbearance? If so, how and why am I being assisted charges? I have read over - reviews about Navient and there is nothing positive.
