Ditech Mortgage held my personal mortgage check ( mailed out the end of -, 2015, for the - -, 2015 mortgage payment ). On -/-/15, when I called and they were unhelpful and clueless when I told them I mailed it in and transferred me to different people in customer service to keep telling my story over & over again. I got no advise so I said I would pay it online to have proof of my payment. The next day, -/-/15, - mortgage payments were taken from my checking account, the check payment and on-line payment. They were holding my check at someone 's desk at Ditech and cashed it when I called in. I want my $12.00 fee payment back that I was forced to pay online. To require someone to make - mortgage payments in one month does not appear to be legal.
