Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Trouble with how payments are handled Illinois

I sent an additional payment to Navient with instructions as to how to apply the additional payment. Navient did not follow those instructions, even though I followed their policy by enclosing a separate piece of paper with instructions as to how to apply my additional payment.
