On -/-/- someone opened a credit card account using my stolen identity with Continental Finance/- Bank. The card balance became delinquent and was subsequently charged off. I became aware of this fraudulent card account on my credit reports -/-/-. -/-/- I faxed a police report to the credit card company and requested the removal of the account from all - credit reporting agencies. I have faxed this request dozens of times and made several calls since then, and the account is still not removed from my credit reports. The credit card company has now asked me to send them a copy of my credit report showing the account, even though they have already determined it to be application fraud. Continental Finance has never contacted me in any way to help resolve this issue, and their ongoing inaccurate reporting of the account has continued to damage my credit rating.
