Synchrony Bank Credit Card Complaint

Synchrony Bank Credit card department,

District of Columbia

I am writing in regards to my account with G.E. Capital Retail Bank, now Synchrony Bank, for a store ( Banana Republic ) - card I had from -/-/-- -/-/-. In -/-/-, this issue was resolved regarding uncredited payments ( see CFPB complaint case no : - ). However on my most recent credit reports ( with - and - ), the information shows up again as a " Charge Off '' and that my information was sold to - - - to collect my unpaid debt- a debt of which I am unaware. To my knowledge, I paid this account in full and closed the account. The floor supervisor in the Recovery Department at G.E./Synchrony, -, researched the matter per my phone call today, - -. The alleged unpaid debt is a minuscule amount- $ - and comes after my correspondence and phone calls with G.E. Capital Retail Bank paying the account in full and closing

Furthermore, - tells me that records show that the last statements were returned to G.E. Bank in -/-/-. Though she is unclear as to why I would be receiving statements after my account was closed, she surmises that the $11.00 is outstanding interest, though she can not be sure since the alleged debt has been charged off. Synchrony should transfer my account back from - - -, the company to which my account was sold in -/-/-. Please note, this sale of incorrect information was a year and nine months after I believed the account to be paid in full and closed! Furthermore, Synchrony should provide a detailed, itemized report of alleged outstanding debt. Finally, Synchrony should report to all - credit bureaus that my account is " Pays As Agreed '' and closed at consumer 's request.
