I graduated from - - University in -, - in - of 2010. I started on my - with University - - - shortly thereafter. I have some private loans through Navient that I ca n't pay. I 'm unemployed. My cosigner has helped with my payments as much as she can but it 's too much of a financial burden to continue. I attempted to enroll in an extended payment plan that would greatly decrease our monthly payments. I first attempted to enroll in this program in late -. I was told everything was squared away once my cosigner gave her financial statement. We canceled the auto-payments from her account. Once the new program was set up we were going to use a different bank account. But then payments were still being taken from my cosigner 's account. They took money out of her account several times. We called to rectify the issue. Every time we called, Navient would say another issue had come up or some data had been entered incorrectly. They said they were " making notes '' on my account so that the problems would be fixed. None of the issues have been solved. Navient told

We received more emails saying that the program was denied with no explanation. I called Navient again today and they are still giving us the runaround. They said today that my cosigner must give another financial statement. And because they wo n't begin the payment program - that I 've already made a payment for to enroll in - my loans are now delinquent. They will not solve the problem. I asked today for copies of the notes they I 've been told are on my account but they refused.
