Continental Finance Company, LLC Credit card department,
This is a formal complaint against Continental Finance ( - - ). There was an unauthorized charge on my card. I promptly reported it to my credit card company and they were very sluggish in resolving the issue. They sent out the required paperwork for me to sign to dispute the charge THREE WEEKS after I made the complaint despite the fact that I only had a limited amount of time to dispute the charge. Disgusted with the poor customer service, I withheld payment until the matter was resolved which was my right. After another 30 days had elapsed before they finally resolved the issue but had managed to add late charges of $65.00 and even after I made the payments, they continue to mount late charges each month despite the fact that I made timely payments. The reason that they give is that the entire required payment including the late charges was n't paid in full. I only paid the required minimum monthly payment since the late charges were not valid since I made the required minimum monthly payment in a timely manner. I have tried to resolve this issue with the credit card issuer and their customer service agents are rude, arrogant and uncooperative. I am going to paid this credit card in full and close this account. But I want this companies ' unethical and predatory behavior on the record.
