This company has a judgment on a credit account that they bought from - of my creditors. In addition, I have not given them any personal information about me. However, they have won a judgment against me and I understand that. But I have never given them any information about me and they have been able to obtain a legal order allowing them to contact my past and previous employers to garnish my wages. I am currently in the process of filing a head of household exemption but I 'm a little uneasy knowing that creditors are allowed to violate my privacy and utilize the court system to seek my personal information. Again, this is a third party collection agency who bought my account from my original creditor. I plan on taking this a little further. The agencies name is Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC. My new employer was served with a writ ordering them the provide my information. This could of resulted in ramifications to me and my lively hood.
