Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Pennsylvania
My undergraduate debt is $170000.00 and I am making monthly payments of $1500.00 a month. I can not afford to live on my own ( living with parents at the age of - ), I do n't know that this will ever be possible. $60000.00 of that money at a 12 % interest, making it almost impossible to try decrease the principal. I make $ - /year. I graduated from Univ. - in -/-/-. I have tried to refinance my loans at lower interest rates but I keep on being told that I have too much debt to refinance - I have made all of my payments on time - I did go into forbearance for 9 months in -/-/-. Any help on what steps I should take next would be greatly appreciated.
