Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease California
Good Morning, I am asking for help to reduce my car payment. I currently pay $620.00 a month for a vehicle. I could n't afford the vehicle, but because of a - I developed while I was in the military -, I could not stop my compulsion to get what I wanted. I am a veteran and I was diagnosed with - and - -/-/-. I have recently had some success at treating my condition and the VA notified me I am going to lose some of an entitlement due to the change in my -. Some of the decisions I have made financially were in direct contrast to being well thought out. When I purchased the - Dodge Durango I traded in a - Nissan Altima Hybrid. There was nothing wrong with the hybrid but I was so convinced that I needed a new car that I could n't see the compulsion was determining my decision rather than making a rational decision. I had so much negative equity ( - ) that was adding to the Durango that I should have been able to stop and walk away. But because of my condition I could not recognize getting the new car I wanted was more important than knowing if I could afford the car. And now that I am losing just over $2000.00 a month, and I am -, I know I ca n't afford $620.00 a month ( This is n't the only bill of course - I am addressing all of them so that I can make my my budget work. ) Really, I could n't afford it then either.
