Barclays Credit card department,
I submitted a payment with Berkley - for - on -/-/2015 through my credit union checking account. The payment confirms the last - of the checking account number. My bank informed me that - tried to run it through my savings account. The payment was declined and I was accessed a fee by my bank. My bank waived the fee as the fault was not mine and informed me I needed to contact visa and tell them to be sure to rerun it as a checking account. After numerous calls to Berkley all I get is that the payment was honored, they did not submit it through savings, and there is nothing they can do. The fact that the calling center is out of the country is only compounding the problem. I offered to resubmit the payment on my debit card if they would cancel the other payment. They said they could not do that. So at this point I am going to be assessed nsf and late fees on my credit card as well as be reported last to the credit bureau through no fault of my own.
