Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute New Jersey
I found inaccurate information on my credit report and set my disputes in to all - major credit bureaus. With my letter I included my ID, SSN and proof of address. The date of the bill was for -/-/-. My dispute was dated for -/-/- ; I had not received my bill for -/-/- yet. In the response that was received by TransUnion, it states that my bill is unacceptable. In the list of what pieces to send TransUnion, it states : ID, SSN and proof of address. That is exactly what I had sent. It is my belief that this is only a stall tactic, which is a violation of my right to dispute inaccurate account pursuant to the FCRA. The bureaus are known for this and although it may work with someone else, I know what I am doing and will not allow for this to happen. I am uploading all of the documents that I originally sent to them and will include this complaint with my letter I am sending to TransUnion tomorrow. I expect for TransUnion to process my disputes according to my rights afforded to me under the FCRA.
