I submitted a dispute to Synchrony Bank regarding an appliance purchase I made from - -. Synchrony asked me for no information and said they would be in contact to let me know where to send my documentation. Approximately one month later I received a letter stating they had contacted the retailer who had provided them with documentation that the charges were valid because the unit was in perfect working condition '' based on an inaccurate assessment from an unqualified servicer. This servicer 's assessment was disputed and a second servicer was sent to my house who did identify and issue with the unit, this is on record with -. However, the merchant stop responding to my requests on - -. I have since sent numerous requests to the merchant without a response. The merchant has also falsely reported all of this information to Synchrony Bank using the documentation from the first service provider as evidence. It has been determined by Synchrony Bank that I am responsible for this purchase based only upon the merchants limited documentation and Synchrony Bank did not reach out to me to let me know where to send my documentation which extends beyond what the merchant provided.
