Credit monitoring or identity protection Billing dispute Massachusetts

This is a letter that I faxed to - - 10 days ago and I received no answer. Dear Sir, Madam, I got your fax number from a nice lady that I talked to when I contacted -. My name is - - - and I have a - credit card, that I use very rarely. ( acct. number : - ) However, I used it a few months ago and went for a vacation to - to take care of my sick mother and later I went for vacation with my kids. Therefore what happened to me is really my fault, but I would like to ask you for reconsideration of my case. I did not pay my bill for 2 months. The balance was about $80.00. Being on vacation, I missed your statements ( in the pile of my mail it was n't difficult, and also, I pay all my bills electronically, so I might have missed a paper statement ) My balance came to my attention after an agent from your bank ( - - ) called me ( -/-/- or -/-/-, ca n't recall exactly when ). I paid my balance promptly over the phone. Last

on my credit history for all my life ( I am - years old, divorced mother of - ), successfully paid for my college, mortgage, various car loans, credit cards, all my household and phone bills and I almost never missed payments. My loans were often very high and I managed to stay in the excellent credit range. I would like you to reconsider your decision to report my mistake ( of not paying $80.00 ) to credit bureau and essentially wiping out years of my excellent financial standing for under $100.00, 2 cycle missed payments, that was promptly paid after the phone call. Please let me know if there is anything you can do about my case and please advise what should be my next steps if there is nothing that you can do at your end. I would like to avoid the consumer agency complaint. Thank you so much, Best regards,
