Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
Due to the - of my husband and his inability to work I requested to be placed in the hardship program. It was agreed that we would pay $160.00 per month for four years at - interest. Our statements continue to reveal 40 % interest being charged. After multiple phone calls to multiple departments and people it seems the system is stacked against the customer resolving the situation. Whoever takes the calls are never people authorized to make a decision. The hardship agreement was made in -/-/- and to date we have received no phone calls, emails or written correspondence. We sent a certified letter to their - office on - -. We checked the tracking on the letter and it revealed it was delivered on - -. So far no response. I called once again to their customer service department and they knew nothing. They were located outside of the US. The crux of the letter we sent informed them that we will no longer be making payments until this is resolved.
