I received a call on Friday from Renton Collections saying this was their - attempt to collect a debt. I had not received any notices so asked that they send me the information as I was not willing to pay something without doing my due diligence to make sure it was handled appropriately. The supposed manager got extremely rude, was telling me to just pay the debt and was completely hostile. Keep in mind I had just paid a $1200.00 bill that was removed from their queue because it had been wrongly sent through our insurance. I wanted to insure this was billed properly since I had n't received notice, not to avoid payment and she continued with the verbal abuse. When I asked to speak to her manager she informed me she was the manager and the only other person above her was the owner and they would n't send me to them. I have no issue paying a bill I owe, but wont just send someone money without any sort of paper trail. Extremely unprofessional and after reading all the similar complaints online, I ca n't believe they are allowed to be in business. Verbal abuse is not ok.
